You didn't mention what part of the country you're in - there are a lot of regional differences in how scarce/plentiful parts are and what they're worth (but I probably didn't have to tell you that.)

I live in Southern Oregon. I found a left cowl light complete at the Turlock California Swap Meet in 1997 for $10 - admittedly a great find.I was reluctant to get it since trying to find the other one singly would be pretty difficult.Still, it was only $10 and in good shape.

One year later, at the 1998 meet last January, I found a right side cowl light for $20.I was thrilled! Both arms were badly pitted so I had them replated ($50) - they came out nice. Now I only have to replate the reflectors, polish the housings and install gaskets and bulbs.Much better than the repros.

So, that's guide to what's possible.I've seen plenty of cowl-light pairs selling for around $100 - they usually need replated arms and reflectors so when you start that high, it's gonna be expensive.

As for the brake drums, good ones are hard to find - if they're more than .100 oversize, you probably should pass it up.They go for around $20-40 at the West Coast meets I've found. The backing plates are less expensive.See if you can find someone who's switching to hydraulic brakes and take all that "old stuff" off his/her hands.

Hope this helps.
