I had one of those installed on my Model A about 5 years ago.It doesn't get driven much, and last year after a lot of overheating and some leakage, I replaced it with a new one.

When I bought another "leakless", the Model A shop recommended running some kind of water pump lubricant in the radiator.Even using anti-freeze is better than just straight water. The new one works great - no noise, no leaks, and cool temps.I just got back from Reno (700 miles) with virtually no overheating at all (well, one steep climb took the motometer thermometer about 3/4 way to the top).

Bottom line: with any water pump, consider keeping it lubed by adding something into the radiator.
