600W Oil

It's hard to find true "600W" gear oil any more; most of the ones sold with that designation are probably closer to 150W.
The original stuff was as thick as honey - and about the same color, as I can recall.
Shell Oil (and others) make a diesel lubricant called "Valvata".Only the larger distributors (near truck stops) in California seem to know how to get this stuff.
