Hi, Carla!

Isn't it great the amount of expertise that can be brought forth on this bulletin board? The previous response to your question has covered most elements.Assuming that your camera has a Program, or Automatic setting, then the aperture and shutter speed will be taken care of for you. Some cameras require that you use a shutter speed of 1/60th of a second when taking flash pictures, so make sure that you start there.

The only trick to keep in mind with flash is the angle at which the flash bounces off of your subject. With dark colors/fabrics, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. If windshields/glass are a part of the picture, you want to make sure that the angle of flash rebound does not come straight back to you.

Most cameras allow you to get as close to your subject as 1.5 feet, or so.You will have to experiment to see if this brings out patterns/colors sufficiently. To get a real close-up of a pattern, for example, you would need to use a macro lens, but why complicate a fun undertaking?

Now, about the idle on my '78 Mustang...

: hello, everyone,

: another s/w owner asked me for some photos of upholstery and interior details of my 160B, so i thought i would ask if amyone else would like any, and, if so, which details?

: the interior in mine is a bit dingy and worn, but i think its all original and all there.

: i have a fairly good camera here, but i'm no photographer, so could anyone give me some advice on film type, shutter speed, etc., that would do clear details?----how does one do "fill flash"?
