the other people who have replied pretty much covered
all the bases, but i've recently painted my wheels,
so i'll give you my take

your quoted figure seems very reasonable; i have
dual sidemounts, hence six wheels.i sandblasted
and did all all the preparatory priming, sanding,
etc., myself.the cost of those materials was
about $70.i then bought the topcoat materials
(around $100) and had a friend spray the final
color coat for me.

so, materials alone cost me $170 for six wheels,
plus $75 that i gave the guy to spray the topcoat.

:I was recently quoted $25 an hour for restoration on a Model
:A. The shop is an experienced Model A shop but I wonder how it compares to others. Also to sandblast and paint eachwheel would be $35.Any comments?
