Michael,

Most Model As require shiming of the body to get the doors aligned properly. There should be rubber shims between the body and the frame at every point where the body bolts attach the body to the frame. You can change the thickness of the shims to help align the doors. For example if you add shims under the bolt just rear of the door the door post will rise and the gap between the door and the body will get wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. Removing shims will have the opposite affect. You can also mess with the shims under the bolt just forward of the door but be careful since the hood alignment will be affected.
