Hi,

as amature as I am at model A's I might be able to offer a bit of opinion.I used just a regular gear or flywheel puller.Which ever you have that fits.I have a '31 S/W Town Sedan and the wheel was keyed on with half moon keys.A small tip that I found interesting. When I took off my steering wheel I pulled out the column and all too from car. When the bottom end was off and I was pulling out the spark and throttle rods a small block of wood fell out. It was in two pieces and had two holes in it.I discovered that it was a spacer for the rods so they didn't rattle against one another.I was told it might not have been originol but don't know.I also have been told that it works very well and even if you show your car, they won't take off steering wheel.Well that was my two cents worth.

Brad
