1929 (French built) Sports Coupé to Restore

I have the opportunity to restore a Model A Sport's Coupé that was built in 1929 at the ASNIERES factory, 225 Quai Aulagnier in France.
The engine number is I598225, the car number is 3686.
As a novice to "old-car" restoration, I would like to obtain as much background info before deciding whether or not to take the plunge....I have scanned through the noticeboard and will be obtaining the Mechanics handbook shortly.
On a practical side :
1) Are there any Model A clubs in France or other parts of Europe ?
2) I judge the car to be in poor condition ...the vehicle is dis-assembled...what is the experience in terms of n° of hours required to restore and rebuild?
3) Anybody interested in coming over to lend a hand !!! ?
