:One of the clinch nuts on my 29 Tudor was semi stripped.I first ran a tap thru it to clean out any debris then filled with JB weld.let it cure for three or four days then redrilled and retapped.Seems to work OK.Maybe you can do the same. Saves replacing the nut.
