: My A has been suffering from chronic water seepage at the head bolts.I think that in my zeal to keep the bolts from freezing in the block, I got too much antiseize in the holes and started the leak myself. It wasn't causing a problem just cosmetic.I checked to see if compression was affected, yadda yadda. It also was leaking badly around the fitting above the water pump but I digress.

: After describing the problem to a friend, he said that the "old timers" would coil solder (don't melt it, just wrap it around the bolt) around the head bolt and replace the nut.Being at my wit's ends (not a long journey for me) I tried it.What do you know?Seepage gone, dry head, no unsightly drip.I am amazed that something so simple and practical isn't more obvious.

Well I guess you can now spend your Thursday nights working on your A instead of ...yadda, yadda:-)
