G'Day Joseph,
According to the Judging Standards the flywheel housing, clutch bell housing, transmission case & gearshift cover, & the front half of the universal joint housing were all painted Ford engine green. Mention is also made that this colour was not always exactly the same shade but may vary between vehicles, however the colour must be exactly the same on the different units.

: I am about ready to paint the engine and transmission on my 1930 Town Sedan.I know the engine was ford green.Should the transmission be black or the same green?I have heard both ways.What is correct?
