Which is the correct patent data plate?

I was recently digging through some of my spare parts and noticed that I had two extra patent data plates. At the bottom where it says "The Ford Motor Company", they are different. One has larger lettering than the other. The one with the large letters appears to be a zinc tag and the other seems to be aluminium or steel. Which is the correct tag for judging purposes? The existing one on my car is an old repro and has the small lettering. Thanks for any help. Dennis
