: Can anyone tell me how to correlate the numbers on Zenith jets to the diameter of the jet orifice?I understand that the jets were originally metric and that the stamped numbers indicated the diameter in millimeters.I want to try my hand at really rebuilding my carb and would like to be able to accurately size the jets.Thanks.

Steve,
There's an excellent article on carburetor rebuilding in the book, How To Restore Your Model A Volume 4. You can check your jet sizes with the following drill sizes

sea level3000-5000'above 5000'
Idling7575 76
Compensator 6565 66
Cap 6263 64
Main6364 65

If you can, read the article. It's a lot of help.

Mike
