: There is an insulating washer listed for use all years. The part is A-22094 Washer (distributor base insulation). It is further described as: 3/16 (3/32 x 9/16) phenol fabric washer. This means the original version would be slightly larger than the replacement version (not unusual!) and would be shiny brown top and botton with fiberous edge like the generator post insulator (or like old printed circut boards).

My December 20, 1932 parts price list reprint shows A-22094 Washer as 3/16 (3/32 x 13/16) so it would seem that sizes for this item varied even during it's Ford source period.

Snyder's Catalog exploded view of the distributer I have "waxed eloquent" about previously does not show this washer.I'll have to get me a Bratton's Catalog next.

Thanks for the info.I have a couple of Distributers waiting in the wings when time allows.

Best regards,
Joe
