Thanks folks for the suggestions.I found an alternate method which does not require heating.Simply soak them in acetone. It worked well.
: Due to faulty rear seals, the emergency brake lining (woven type) on my A has become impregnated with bearing grease.With the exception of the grease, they linings appear to be in very good condition.Does anyone know of a method for removing the grease thereby making the brake linings usable? If posible I,would like to avoid the time and expense of replacement.Thanks.
