Hi Keith..

Sounds like you have a later 1931 Deluxe coupe with the indented firewall without the rumble seat conversion.The cowl lamps were only on the deluxe models.Some deluxe coupes had mohair upholstery.

Also, the cowl band, headlamps, cowl lamps, hub caps, tail lights and the radiator shell (other than the top and bottom inserts) are stainless steel. (non-magnetic). Like Tim said, it sounds like the rebuilt engine in your 31 came from an earlier Model A.
