Just three observations:
1) When we design heating or cooling applications, we generally place a restriction in the supply or return lines to provide the necessary flow rate for optimum heat transfer rates. On industrial equipment this is often an adjustable restriction. The automotive equivalent is the thermostat. The inlet and out of the radiator also serve in that capacity (restriction). If the radiator is partially plugged, therefore, the flow could remain constant, but the heat transfer capacity could be significantly reduced.
2) Don't forget that the water pump on a Model A is not a positive displacement pump. It can develop relatively little pressure head.
3) Isn't it great to be associated with people who, in addition to whatever else they do, have a sense of humor?
