: I have an original late steel back Vicky and am in the process of getting the doors to fit.I have rebuilt the female dovetails, installed repro male dovetails, and am in the process of replacing the hinge pins(got the top pins replaced so far). How do I adjust the door hinges? I need to move the doors back about 1/8" and the latch side up 1/4". Thanks for for help.Ted

Hi Ted:Try to get a copy of Volume 3, "How to Restore Your Model A", from the Restorer. Page 15 has article, "What To Do - Poor Door Fit".Discusses springing the hinges with a screwdriver, adding shims under the body to correct body sag which will affect door alignment, etc. Also has articles on hinge pins, page 17, 18, & 121. This may be helpful.
Best wishes, Henry
