: Ray:
: I have just recently purchased a 1930 Tudor and feel the brakes are not right. I have tried to adjust them. This has had little or no change. I think I might need new shoes and because the car acts like the drum is out of round when I depress the pedal, I think I might need new drums also. Please give me a quote on the price for theses items.
: Thanks

Bob the only way to know if you need new linings is to look at them. If they are greasy or rivers touching surface they must be replaced. If the thickness of drum is less than 0.120 then they should be replaced, I recommend new cast iron ones.Bob I can explain the brake system muchbetter if you would call me during the day.Ph.210-659-1527.
