G'Day Y'all,
OK guys cut the rocket science, as the most eloquent "Model A Fool" pointed out pie are round & bread are square, so the moral of the story is that the area of a circle increases by thesquare of the diameter, so it don't make no never mind how much water/coolant "COULD" flow through the radiator, the burning question is how much & at what speed should it be going through to provide efficient cooling??. My personal philosophy according to the laws of modern vehicle technology, (& anybody's welcome to shoot me down in flames), is to provide the maximum available flow available from the efficiency of the water pump to the radiator, & restrict its passage means of a thermostat. Sounds stupid doesn't it??. So how come all modern cars have thermostats??. Must all be idiots these new fangled motor manufacturers, or maybe Henry wasn't always right. Makes you think doesn't it?.
