Modern Shock Installation For Touring

Is there a way to install telescoping modern type shock absorbers on all 4 corners of aModel A without welding onto or drilling any holes into the frame and axles? It is my opinion that original shock absorbers are too expensive and notdurable enough for highway touring. So I want to install modern shocks on my Victoria & Coupe.
