: Please can anyone help?I've recently read in one of our Model A reference documents (I can't remenmberwhich one but i'll look it up again)that buyers had the option on the 1928/29 Phaeton of switching the body and trim paint colors.I don't see that mentioned in the MAFCA/MARC judging standards.Does anyone have any comments?

Hugh, The description you mention was written in "The Model A Ford As Henry Built It". It's an interesting statement that could not be verified through Branch Sevice Letters or original sales literature used by the Ford Dealers.

If your intent is to keep your car authentic (my preference), I suggest following the Standards or Mafca's Paint and Finish Guide. But remember, You need to be happy with your car!
