Since you have access to a lift chain, you might want to try getting a couple of 8 foot 4x4s that you can slide thru the rear-side window and door windows.Also pick up some carpet scraps and staple or tack them to the 4x4s so that they'll protect the body. You can then place the rear 4x4 as far forward as it will go and the 4x4 that goes thru the door windows to the balance point.

I did this recently using a fork lift and a tow strap and it worked quite well.The "trick" is to take your time and have at least 1 helper (one per side is better.)

If you have 4 strong people, you can use this same technique with padded 4x4s and simply use human power to lift the body up off the frame and have a 5th person simply push the chassis out of the way.

In either case, it helps if the steering column is out of the car, and also doesn't hurt if you've removed the gear shift lever and emergency brake handle (although they're about the same height as the top of the block so you won't gain too much.)
