Bob-
Windwings are a great accessory for any sedan or coupe - they cut down the wind turbulence greatly and provide an ideal spot to mount side-view mirrors (they are very stable, don't vibrate). They were an era aftermarket accessory but were used on many Model A's when they were new.Sometimes original brackets can be found, but most were pot metal and in poor shape, so most restorers use the repro brackets, which are of good quality.
Good luck

I have A 1930 town sedan. My question is would it be wrong
: to put windwings on my car ? Were windwings an option or
: after market parts ? If anyone has them on their car dose
: it help keep the wind from thundering around when windows
: are down ?
:thankyou
