: I have a Fordoor Briggs in a restoration process; my question is- how do I determine if it is a '28-2960-A or 60-B, or a '29 60-C, or a '28-29 155-B, 165-B, or 170-A? I also need the sheet metal that goes over the doors but under the top dressing - any suggestions on where to search for the replacement (original or reproduction)?

From your description of the sheet matal it sounds like a 60-A,B or C. Click on the link below to the Barnyard. In the "Main Garage" you will find a 170-B which is the same body (except cowl) as the 170-A. In the "Corral" is both a 60-A and a 60-C with enough info that you should be able to determine which you're working with.

Regards,
Marco
