: Does anyone know of a plating shop that specializes in the butler finish for the chrome interior parts of the Town Sedans?Or can bright chrome be made to look like the butler finish?My sedan has bright finished door handles and window cranks, but badly worn butler finish door locks.

: Thanks, in advance for any help,

Pat;
I plate a lot of my small parts myself and I have found that after plating, buffing with a red Scotch Brite pad on my buffing wheel produces very good results. You can find these pads at most larger swap meets where venders sell buffing supplies. I think Eastwood also sells them. If you don't want to do your own plating, you probably could buff a bright nickel piece to a butler finish with this method. Be careful not to buff through the nickel plating when trying it. Good luck.
