Diesel Model A power..it runs...

I own a commercial diving service...so I use one of my Model A's for advertising...and I use it quite hard...not wanting to tear up a good engine I decided to do somthing different..first I tried a Pinto engine...it ran super..but I wanted somthing more different...so I bought a Opel diesel engine..new..its 90 hp at 4800 rpm it weighs about the same and is about the same size..so it really was not to hard to install and dident require any cutting or body mods...I used a Model A frount mount and bell housing...extended the dtransmission output shaft 2 3/4 inches...I am using the Opel flywheel and clutch...and the A disc..it runs!!!
power is smoothe and about the same as the B (C) engine but it has power much past where the old engine ran out...it used the stock radiator and a stock exhaust...sounds a bit noisy at idle but once you start putting power to it it really quiets down and its just really smoothe...wlhat a kick..
I plan on driving it to Reno...I'll be easy to spot...black 31 std.roadster...with door signs in red...Rapose diving and salvage...flag me down and we'll have a laugh...there he goes...in a cloud of blue-grey smoke...(really not noticible)
but in the parking lot ya should be able to hear me idle...sounds like I have bad rods...all of em...Ha!Joel
