Nice to see a shared family interest in the Model A.My Dad used to own an "A" as a teenager but I just can't seem to get him interested or involved with my "A".Too bad, really.

From what you write I guess you don't have "older" tires. Some rubbers as they age tend to lose resiliency and iftires have the other typical signs of age (cracking of the sidewalls, etc.) it is advisable to give them a deserved retirement."Safety First" is more than just a slogan when your life may depend on it.

If your tires are new they are probably in pretty good shape.I think if you just run the car for a while the flat spots will disappear. When the tires are driven, they heat up and the action of the heat and rolling tends to work out the flat spots.Of course when you stop them hot, the tires tend to set new flat spots so you have to go through the whole process again later. This is encouragement to use your car regularly, I think.

You'll want to make sure they are properly inflated, of course. 35 psi.

Happy family motoring.I find the Model A to be a great car to go get ice cream in on a warm summer night.Write us your experiences after you get the car out for a run.

Best regards,
Joe
