: I LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A PLACE IN SOUTHERN NH THATS REAL GOOD AT REBUILDING 1930 FORD ENGINESTHANK YOU

Russ

You can try Knight Automotive Engineering at Kettle Cove Industrial Pk, Gloucester, MA 01930-0413 (508-525-3491).
They are actually sited in the area of Gloucester known locally as "Magnolia".

They do work primarily on 4 and 8 cylinder flat head fords but also take on other work and other makes as well.

They are very good, very conscientious, very expensive(aren't they all) but worth every cent. They even can do upgrades to B crank and counterweights (all at a price) or can give you a rebuilt short block on demand guaranteed to go if you're not fussy about having the "exact" engine your car came with. They're willing to work with you on partials also.

Best way to get there is go down Route 93 or 95 to Route 128 and head east towards Gloucester, MA.Get off at the route 133 exit (Essex Road) head east until you can go no furtherand then head south on Main Street out of Gloucester. It'll be on your right.

I have had two engines done there (The first short block was $480 in 1978) but I would go there again irregardless of price today.

Best regards,
Joe
