Duane,
The factory installed spark plugs were marked "3x" all years. There were three versions of these over the production years, and two other versions subsequent to the production years. Approximately June 1931 Ford began adding the Ford name in script to many replacement parts because of competition from outside venders, but this did not include spark plugs. All items with the Ford name in block letters are later aftermarket items. It's been many years since I've seen the type plugs you describe so I am unable to speculate as to the time period they were manufactured without seeing them. It's still a fun item to have and run on your 'A'.
