I see that you are in St. Cloud, maybe this could help:
On Thursday Evening (03/26/98) there is a restoration clinic of the Twin Cities Model A Ford Club.The topic will be body styles and brakes.After every clinic they have time where anyone who has parts wanted or for sale can have the floor.It may be an opportunity for you to ask some of the senior club members (who don't use the internet) for pattern help.The meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Park High school (near 694 and Shingle Creek Parkway) which is on the northern end of the metro area. It is less than an hour drive for you and it may provide the help you need to get the job done. We average about 5 new people attending the clinics every month.

P.S. I just got the 1998 roster:There are 173 Model A cars in this club that are either Restored or Being restored but drivable.
