Brad,

The problem here is two fold. Originally the body wood was made from a master part and not a pattern. The woodworkers would use the master part to make copies. Therefore plans were not used in the production process.Second the companies that make wood kits most likely would not want to sell you their plans because they make their money by selling kits.If they sell their plans someone could use the plans to make kits and take away their business.Your choices are to buy a kit. Or find someone who has a car like yours who has replaced the original wood and still has it. Then you can borrow the original wood and copy it for your car. When I made the wood for my Cabriolet I did not make plans, I just copied the original pieces. I was lucky enough that at least 1/2 the wood was in good enough shape to copy. (If the wood from one side is bad or missing you can use the mirror image of the other side).Good luck

By the way the question "Where can I get plans for the body wood for my Model A ?" has been one of the most asked questions to the technical directors of the two Model A clubs. The answer is always "I do not know.".

Bob
