not that anybody cares.....
i'm one of the 'old' youngsters. (i wonder who thatold man in the mirror is, sometimes)i got my first A by trading a flat top gibson guitar when i was 14.it was a 30 tudor.i bought a set of sockets from sears and had at it.i succeeded in restoring the frame and running gear, sent the engine off for rebuild, redid the transmission and cleaned the rear end (no courage).when i got to the point of the body work i sought help, and discovered i hadn't bought enough body to work on. that was 32 years ago. since then i've had 4 other cars, and enjoyed every bit of them.i'm currently working on a nov. 28 tudor, that i'm going to take to the show.i bought in 74 while in college. it had been parked in the late 50's.3 days and a lot of refurbishing i drove it 250 miles home. it's been stored ever since. so i'm 'new' to model A's again.in 74 the judging standards where 26 pages...everything was easier in the 'old' days ;-)

if you wonder if you can redo an A, and aren't sure...just remember a 14 year old can take em apart, and with help can even get them back together and make em run.

luck
jim
