WOW!It is great to hear all these stories! Our hobby is in good hands then...

I am a nineteen-year-old freshman at Penn State University.
I "procured" my '31 Model "A"Tudor four years ago.The car was in pretty rough shape, but it did have its good points (very few). After accomplishing little on the car, I joined the Lehigh Valley Model "A" Club in early 1996.

A few individuals took me "under their wing" and I was on my way to having a restored car.By October 1996 the car was completely restored!

I have driven the car 5,500 miles since then.My family and I drove the car to the 1997 MARC National Meet in Dayton, Ohio. What an experience!

Well, keep up the good work!

: Hello,

: For the sake of curiousity, I would like to see how many "younger" people (teens through twenties) are getting into the Model "A" Hobby.

: It would be nice to have some sort of correspondence among the future of the hobby. The national clubs are trying to spark "youth drives" to get the next generation of "A" bugs involved.Perhaps we can communicate and begin new friendships over the internet, or even arrange to meet each other at national conventions or big shows.

: Established members should make it a point to ENCOURAGE new interest in the Model "A" hobby.Promotion of the hobby is essential for the maintenance of the hobby's health. We need to have renewed membership in order to maintain our common goal:The preservation of the Model "A" so it can entertain future generations as it has entertained present and past generations.

: Next generation, identify yourself!

: Thanks!
