: Glen, I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to answer your questions, but I'd like to add to them.I was at a Model A owners house last night. He had purchased a 2 blade aluminum fan for his 1929 Tudor Sedan. He had to cut an inch or so off the blades of the fan because the blades hit the radiator outlet that the upper hose attaches to.He has a new reproduction radiator on his car.Maybe that caused his problem.Has anyone else encountered this problem?I agree with your opinion on the looks of the 4 bladed fans but wonder if anyone has an opinion on the plastic 4 bladed fans that are available?

My Model A is a driver so I have used the 6 bladed plastic fan for years. Many thousands of miles later the fan still is as good as new.If you do a lot of touring, using this fan is one less thing you have to check. It may not lookthat great, but it is lightweight and well balanced.

Doug
