Carla,
As Marco noted some, but not all, Model "A"s had the body cross member or a side rail stamped with a number that tends to indicate where the body was assembled. If you find such a number on your Fordor, we may be able to tell you the original location.
If you are lucky enough to have a car with a Louisville or Los Angles assembly plant number, then these numbers contained dates. I would be very interested if you able to locate such a number.
