Dave-
This pin is the same pin used in the brake system in 1928 to connect the brake pedal to the brake activating rod - it has an extension which is used to attach the brake light switch to the pedal, and this same extension attaches to the return spring when used on the emergency brake handle.If you look in the 1928 Ford Parts Book, you'll see the same part number is used for both pins.

: My dad has a 1928 AR Model A with the left hand parking brake.He is trying to find the clevis pin that attaches the brake pedal to the brake rod clevis fitting.With the left hand parking brake a special clevis pin is required.The head side of the clevis pin has an extension to accomodate the parking brake return spring which slips over the head side of the pin.This is NOTan ordinary clevis pin that is used for the rest of the brake rod connections but has the special extension on the head side of the pin to hold the parking brake return spring.Again, this is the early 28 AR Model A with a LEFT hand brake.This is about the only part my dad needs to complete the restoration of his car.I would appreciate any help you can provide in locating one.Thanks so much.
