I had a car transpoted from Texas to California in an open car transporter and it costaround $900.I bought the car (a 1991 car) without seeing it personally.However I called a local (Texas) shop that checks out cars and for $70 they gave me a report after they checked it out.Most of these places would not know much about a Model A. But you should be able to find someone who is a member of a Model A club in the area where the car is located.Most Model A people love to look at Model As and they should be able to tell you from experience what shape the car is in.Check out the Chapters page on the MARC and MAFCA web sites.
