Just one general comment (and I'm sure you'd agree)...the most frustrating part about getting most any replacement part for an A (or anything else for that mattter) is getting stuff that isn't up to quality standards or is obviously inferior or different than the original (even when it claims to be right).
This brings up the question, if you are not going to do it exactly right, why bother? Usually the answer is that it is too cost-prohibitive to make exactly right (like the size of the machine required or the dies are too intricate or the procedure is too expensive). Sometimes I feel this is an honest answer, sometimes it seems like it should be "We could make it better but we can make more money this way."
I think we are fairly lucky with model A's in that there are a lot of dealers that are very up front about what they sell and their opinions of them...but even if they know a part stinks if it is the only one made what choice do we have?
I think the best thing would be to see what people think needs improving, see what you can do better and be honest about any shortcomings and the reasons behind them.
The first things that come to mind for me are window cranks and inside door handles that look more than vaguely like originals.
