Tom,
The cowl wiring starts at a special connector at the frame beside the steering. I follows over the steering sector housing, over the rear motor mount, into the cowl at the l/f body bolt, behind the left inclined floor board support, up behind the cowl trim cardboard, and over the top of the left cowl strainer (metal brace).
