engine vibration

I recently purchased a 1930 tudor with a rebuilt engine.The problem is, when the engine is running at any speed above idle speed ,the vibration seems to be excessive. Maybe the crankshaft/ flywheel are out of balance? This is a new hobby for me so I really could use some ideas on this. Thank You.
