I attended the AACA annual meeting this month in Phil, PA.This question came up in one of the seminars.It was, however, directed towards owners of newer vehicles.The answer was that IF you do not run at wide open throttle for extened periods of time, you can do without lead very well.As previous correspondents have pointed out--the A was built for a far simpler time, a time before lead.There fore no lead is not a worry.
