There certainly are experts out here, but I am not one of them!However, I think I do recall reading in an earlier question that since the gasoline of the day was not leaded, that the Frantic Forty-horsers were not really built to burn leaded in the first place.Thus, adding lead to today's gasoline would not be necessary.
