I have had experience with the all-stainlessmuffler by Beaver, and the one I had split its folded seam the first backfire the engine had (less than 100 miles). It fit and sounded fine, but the material used and the seam were not strong enough.I replaced it with an Aries muffler, which is not stainless steel, but is an authentic reproduction of the original Ford muffler. It fits fine, has a great flare to fit to the mainfold, and has a welded seam, rather than just folded, and has not split despite several backfires over several thousand miles.

: I have seen 3 different types of exhaust systems for sale with the prices going from $50 for a cheapo or $215 for show quality and up to $266 for stainless steel. Is the show quality or the stainless steel systems worth the price to put on a very nice driver.I want everything to fit and not have to mess with it constantly.Any info on your experiences will be appreciated.
: Thanks, Jim
