you might check out caswell electroplating.i've not used there kits and don't know how they compare to original plating but the do sell hobbist kits.

: Does anyone have any information on cad plating.I think that it can be done using DC from a auto battery or a charger or a toy train transformer.What I am not sur of is what the chemical is that is used for the electrolite, where can you get it and where do you get the cad.Any books on how to.
