Jim

The measurements is a drawn illustration of the cab from back of cab to front of cowl. The AA book won't help you a great deal with your pick-up because it just deals with the big trucks.By the way I'm not that impressed with the book because of the poor quality pictures.E-mail me if I can help you with anything else.

: : I looked in the AA truck book by Jim Schild and according to that the measurement is 50 7/32".I don't know if you know but all that I have read the body for a AA is the same as a pickup.Dan was pretty much in the ball park but if you are trying to align the body for doors etc. I just thought you needed to be a little closer.

: Hi Joe, a couple of questions, I'm curious where the measurement in the Schild book is taken, and also would like to know what you think of the AA book by him. I have the resto manual by him and I think it is great. I have a '29 Closed Cab and wonder how usuable the AA book would be for me since the cabs are the same.
