I frogot to mention the time frames
You usely have a time frame of around 48 hours till 1 month th get the next coat on wether it is primer of paint
The actual time will be published by the paint manufatcuure..
If you get out side of that time, -- resand the whole prmed area with the recomended grit (150 grit - i think) and re prime..

Some people will tell you that you can wait any time and paint but what will happen is that the coats on top will become more brittle and could and probley will chip & flake off...
