Parts could have been mixed during restoration (very common).If the headlamps are new, then the owner would possibly purchase "1929 headlamps" as most people still don't realize the change came later.If you are concerned with the subtleties of correctness, then the first thing I'd do is get a copy of the Judging Standards and use the info to determine what month the car was manufactured.If you have the original engine or frame number, that would determine the date within two-three months.Production was quite high in early 1929 and if that is where your number falls, it's likely the car would have been built within one month after the engine was built and numbered.
