Eduardo,
The book that I was thinking of is "Know Your Model A Ford".It is a c.1958 combined reprint of "Know the Ford" and "Questions and Answers on Ford Service" both by Murray Fahnstock, Member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and Former Technical Editor of Ford Dealer & Service Field Magazine. These original books were published around 1930.
To give you an idea of the contents:
-Why Four Cylinders are Best
-Where the Engine Gets its Power
-Why the Engine Runs so Smoothly
-Why the Lubrication System is Unusual
-Why the Cooling System is Unique
-Why the Camshaft is Extra Strong
-Why Patented Ford Valves are Better
-Why the Fuel System is Always Effective
-Why Economy Results from the Improved Carburetor
-How the Simplified Ignition System Assures Better Service
-Why the Electrical System is Unusual
......
And it goes on for 21 chapters all together.

The Q&A on Ford Service covers each major item or system.
The Powerplant
The Cooling System
The Ignition System
The Electrolock
The Crankshaft....and on for another total of 21 chapters.

It is quite a look at a combination of technical reasoning and product "hype" for the "New Ford".A very interesting book.I didn't find it in any of the current Model A supplier's catalogs so it may be out of print.
John
