Kevin,That has got to be THE BEST description of a vacuum locked gas tank I have ever heard!!! Perfect, and excellant advice, too.Fred
: If this is the case don't be embarrassed, it's happened to alot of us.Look on the bright side, your carb is rebuilt!Others will instruct you on fuel flow, clogged screens...
: All are valid but If you're really tracing your fuel system start at the top and that means the gas tank cap.Take off the cap when she stalls again and If you hear a POP like a jar of pickles, there's your answer.You either have vacuum Packed gas or a gas tank full of pickles!
